家族の日/ Family Day

冬日和と言えば…ピクニック！森林公園でお昼を食べたり、
What can we do on a nice warm winter day… picnic! We had nice lunch at forest park, リスのように茂みの中で遊んだり、
Played in the bush like squirrel,
落ち葉でいっぱい遊んだり、とってものたしかった！
And played a lot with the leaves. It was a fun day out!

サイクリング/ Cycling

いいお天気だったので、家族そろってサイクリングに行くことにしました。Jasonの初の長距離サイクリングだったので、所々休憩しながら、
It was a nice day for a family cycling. Since it’s Jason’s first long distance cycling, we stop in different places,

家族写真を撮ったり、
Take some family photo,
石の鶏で遊んだり、
Play with chicken statue,
がんばって８．５キロのサイクリングを無事に終了！また行こうね。(^-^)
Jason was able to finish the 8.5km of cycling! It was lots of fun.

モデルデビュー？/ Modeling debut?

違いまーす！おばあちゃまと、曾孫たちの初集合写真を撮ろうとしたところ・・・小さい子たちがなかなか落ち着かず、（パパたちが肩車をしているのが見えますか？）
Just kidding! When we were trying to take the first grope photo with Grandma and her great-grandchildren… the little one were restless, (Can you see the daddy’s doing the piggyback?)

カメラの後ろでみんなが必死にあやしても、なかなかいい写真が取れなかったので、
Since we were having a hard time getting a good photo, no matter how hard everyone try to lull behind the camera,

みんなの準備ができるときに撮った写真でした。写真撮影が無事に終わってよかった！
We took some picture of Jason. We were so happy when we accomplished our mission. (^-^)

アフリカ旅行の思い出 / Memory of Africa trip…

大変お待たせいたしました！とうとうアフリカ旅行の写真をブログに載せ始めることにしました。（パパの大家族に会うために行ってきました。）たくさんのたくさんの楽しい思い出があるので、少しずつブログに載せていきます。お楽しみに！

従兄と初対面！/ Fun with cousins!

メキシコとベネズエラに６年半ほど宣教・ボランティア活動をしていた弟が日本に帰ってきました。いとこ初対面の手巻き寿司パーティー！
My brother, who was in Mexico and Venezuela for a missionary / volunteer work came back to Japan. The kids enjoyed the sushi party with their cousins for the first time!
子供たちは、すぐに仲良し！

Fun family outing!!

We decided to go to a very nice park with athletic, grass filed, and flower garden to meet out with Daddy’s friends. And of course we had fun picnic too!
パパの友達に会いに、アスレチックや大きな広場、そしてきれいなお花畑のあるとっても素敵な公園に遊びに行きました。そしてもちろん楽しいピクニックも！

Many kids around 5-7 were even scared at some of the athletic, but no, not Tiana. She did most of it on her own, with some other kids crying for help. I don’t know if I should be happy or worried for her…
５-７才の子も怖がっているアスレチックでも、ティアナは怖いもの知らず！周に他の子が泣いているのもお構いなく、ほとんど全て自分でやってしまいました。喜んでいたらいいのか、彼女のことを心配していたらいいのか・・・

Happy Birthday, mama Mia!

Yesterday was our Godmother’s (aka Mia) Birthday!
Thank you so much for always being there for us,
Taking care of us when Daddy and or Mammy is not home,

Feeding us yummy food,
Play with us and so much more!

But last but not least: Good friend to Daddy and Mommy,
and we really love you!!

お花見 / Cherry blossoms Pt2

春 ＋ お休みの日 ＋ いい天気 ＝ お花見！
Spring + day off + good weather = Picnic!
近くの学校に、友達と一緒にお花見に行きました。
We went to another cherry blossoms picnic with our friends.

今回は,ちゃんと花見もしたし・・・
This time I look at the flowers…

匂いもかいじゃった！
And even took time to smell them!

お花見 / Cherry blossoms Pt1

友達と一緒にお花見に行ってきました。おいしいお弁当を作ってくれたみんな、ありがとう！メニューは、おにぎり、焼きそば、サンドイッチ、唐揚げ、ジュース、漬物に、ピクルスなど。もちろん大人のためにはビールも。(^-^)
We went on a picnic with our friends to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms with yummy lunch. Thanks for making them!　We had our kids’ favorite food: rice ball, fried noodles, sandwich, fried chicken etc. And we also had beer for adults. (^-^)

大満足のパパ！
