Happy Birthday, Pudge!

You're one! You have quite a few teeth, you've started on your potty training, and you've been able to walk for quite awhile now. You get offended sooo easily and will be a handful when you grow up, but for now you're too cute to stay mad at and we love you so much!

5 seconds of fame

A video Yosh made to the song "Change the World" starring Jason and Dada for five whole seconds. That's the whole reason for this post so watch carefully. (for those of you who miss it, it's at 2:00)

Oh I forgot to say, good going Yosh. ahaha

A belated valentine day pic

Just a photo I found recently. Dada and the two peas.

Railroad children

It was a holiday and our favorite mall was having a special event where children could ride on a locomotive that ran through a part of the mall. It went at a snail's pace but the kids thought it was great fun.

Daddy and all the kids waiting at the "station".

All on board. The babies liked to stick their head out and Pudge kept posing for the camera. I was laughing and didn't catch the pose on camera.

Rest day!

First restday in two weeks and we had it all together. For fun we all got dressed up in suits and went out for word time. For Akira it wasn't anything special as he gets dressed up every weekend, but for the rest of us it was something we don't do on a regular basis so Akira kindly went along with it for our sakes. Ordered drink bar and just relaxed, read and talked.
That afternoon we biked to a basketball court, but as it was full we went to the gym and played both badminton and basketball, guys against girls (guess who won? hehe). Overall all it was a fun and vigorous day. Thanks Steve and Crystal!

They're back!

Dada, Mama and Pudge came back late last night while Chubs was sleeping.
As Chubs had grasped the concept of the calendar prior to his birthday, before they left for the seminar Mommy had circled the days they would be gone on the calendar and put a square around the day they would come back. He would talk about the circles and square almost every day. When he woke up this morning he was super happy to see Dada and Mama again. I heard that Pudge was really to see him and that they spent some time hugging each other. Aww..
So the week ended successfully and without any major hiccups. Alls well that ends well. Now to sleep...

Home Alone-2

Chubs has been doing well. He has had occasional fits and temper tantrums, which have been difficult, but thankfully they haven't been related to his parents not being here. We're trying to help him get over his whining.
The first night he slept terribly and woke up once every hour or so and I was dead tired during the day. Since then I've been praying really hard for him to sleep well and now he wakes an average of twice a night. Not bad.
We've been keeping him, and the other kids here, occupied with different activities and outings. We've gone to a traffic park where they drove pedal cars and got to ride on a mini train. A few nights we took them to a play place to bounce around.

It's tiring, but so far so good.

Concentrating on the road rules at the traffic park. Although he drove on the wrong side of the road (his portuguese side coming out here), he was very strict about following all the rules and gave me a lecture when I crossed a yellow light.Wonderful conviction..

Bouncing on "rodeo" horses at the play place.

Home alone-Pt.1

Dada, Mama and Pudge went off to the ED seminar yesterday. So Chubs is going to have a week with us. The last time his parents were gone was over a year ago so we'll see how it goes this time. Wish us the best!
